Day 01
Arrive Delhi
Today Arrive Delhi, The Capital of India. You are
greeted with a traditional Indian Welcome and escorted transfer to Hotel.
Day 02 New - Old Delhi Sightseeing
Morning embark on a tour of "Imperial
City" New Delhi. Drive pass through the Raisina Hill to view Parliament
House, The President House, past the imposing India Gate, visit the
Humayun's Tomb, Quatab Minar, Lotus Temple and Birla Temple. Afternoon visit
to Old Delhi includes The Red Fort, Jama Masjed and Raj Ghat, the memorial
site of Mahatma Gandhi.
Day 03 Delhi - Agra -
Taj Mahal (200 kms)
Morning drive to Agra. Later today's
sightseeing includes Agra Fort, Itmad-ud-Daulah tomb. Also visit the
Magnificent Taj Mahal - The Monument of Love in the warm glow of Sunset,
which was built in 1630 by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as a tomb for his
beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Construction of the Taj Mahal began in 1631, and
is believed to have taken 18 years to complete, with over 20,000 craftsmen
working around the clock.
Day 04 Agra - Fatehpur
Sikri - Ranthambore (294 kms)
Morning drive to Ranthambore via
visit the ghost city of Fatehpur Sikri, built in 1569 by the Great Emperor
Akbar. On today's drive to Ranthambore through the Rajasthani countryside we
see villages, woman dressed in the brilliantly colored saris of the region,
Camels, Elephants & scenes of rural lives. Arrive Ranthambore.
Day 05 Ranthambore National Park
Morning 3 hrs. Canter drive for
Game viewing deep into the Jungle to see the Wild Animals. Later visit to
13thCentaury historical Ranthambore fort. Afternoon another Game Viewing in
the Park.
Day 06 Ranthambore - Jaipur
Sightseeing (175 kms)
Morning drive to Jaipur - Known as the "Pink
City", Jaipur is the capital of the colorful state of Rajasthan.
Afternoon visit to Maharaja's City Palace, Jantar Mantar (an accurate
Observatory built in 1726 AD), Hawa Mahal (Palace of Wind) - a five storied
wonder with a spectacular pyramidal façade overhanging windows and
Birla White Marble temple.
Day 07 Excursion to Amber Fort
Ascend on Elephant for a short
safari along the picturesque hills of 17th century fortress of Amber Fort -
marvelous example of Rajput architecture with its terraces and ramparts
reflected in the Maota Lake below. The interiors of the fort have various
royal halls decorated with intricate ivory, mirror and glasswork
complemented by exquisite wall paintings and also visit temple of Kali.
Day 08 Jaipur / Udaipur Sightseeing
Morning fly to Uadipur. This beautiful 16th century city is considered to be
the most romantic spot in India. Its gleaming silver lakes and fairy - tale
palaces, sparkling fountains & lush gardens are unforgettable - evoking
a wistful mood of old world romance and nostalgia. Today famous French
guided sightseeing includes the Grand City Palace with its scalloped arches,
fretted balconies & cupolas; the Saheliyo-ki-Bari or Garden of Maids;
the Nehru Park.
Day 09 Excursion to Ranakpur
Overland full day excursion to Ranakpur temples of the Jains, built in the
15th century in the lovely valley of Aravallis. It has grand structure &
beautiful Sculptures. The 1444 pillars in the temple are different from each
other. The magic of light & shade is really awe- inspiring. Evening back
to hotel.
Day 10 Udaipur - Delhi - Onward
Destination
Morning fly to Delhi. Arrive Delhi transfer to
International airport to board the Onward Flight. After taking a lot of
memories say good-bye to this fascinating land.

Optional Activity (Meeting with
Chieftains Family)
After finishing your Amber Fort tour (or from
your hotel) drive to the Khuraad estate, nestled in the hills of Jaipur, 5
Kms. from Amer Fort.Here you will be invited for tea by the Chieftains
family. After which you mount your Elephant(s) and start on your short
safari through the quite and peaceful bushy countryside of Amber, away from
all the hustle and bustle of the City,and from the annoying touts and
beggars . After a half-hours safari along the picturesque hills of Amber you
will arrive at your private "dinner" camp pitched up only for you
in the jungles of Jaipur. Here you will be welcomed by the Safari staff
after which enjoys some local folk entertainment and a wide range of
cocktails by a fire under a canopy of stars. Flame torches and hurricane
lamps will brilliantly light up the whole area. This will be followed by a
BBQ Dinner. Later one could either sip cognac around a fire or head back to
their respective hotels.
