Today Arrive Delhi, The Capital of India. You are greeted with a
traditional Indian Welcome and escorted transfer to Hotel.
OCT 29 New & Old Delhi Sightseeing
Morning embark on a tour of "Imperial
City" New Delhi. Drive pass through the Raisina Hill to view Parliament
House, The President House, past the imposing India Gate, visit the
Humayun's Tomb, Quatab Minar, Lotus Temple and Birla Temple. Afternoon visit
to Old Delhi includes The Red Fort, Jama Masjed and Raj Ghat, the memorial
site of Mahatma Gandhi.
OCT 30 Delhi - Agra - Taj Mahal (200
kms)
Morning drive to Agra. Later todays sightseeing include Agra
Fort, Itmad-ud-Daulah tomb. Also visit the Magnificent Taj Mahal - The
Monument of Love in the warm glow of Sunset, which was built in 1630 by
Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as a tomb for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal.
Construction of the Taj Mahal began in 1631, and is believed to have taken
18 years to complete, with over 20,000 craftsmen working around the clock.
OCT 31 Agra - Jaipur (232 kms)
Drive to Jaipur via
visit the ghost city of Fatehpur Sikri, built in 1569 by the Great Emperor
Akbar. Today, it is deserted and left in solitude to reminisce over its past
glory. On today's drive to Jaipur through the Rajasthani countryside we see
villages, woman dressed in the brilliantly colored saris of the region,
Camels, Elephants & scenes of rural lives. Remainder day is free to
explore the colorful Pink City Bazaar.

17th Century fortress of Amber. Ascent to the fort on Gaily Caparisoned
elephant to various palaces with rooms and stunning beauty including the
world's finest chamber of Mirrors and the temple Kali. Afternoon visit to
Maharaja's City Palace, Jantar Mantar (an accurate observatory built in 1726
AD), Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) - a five storied wonder with a spectacular
pyramidal facade and overhanging windows with latticed screens, domes and
spires and Birla White Marble temple.

is an annual spectacle, which takes place in November 12-14 at the time of

03 Pushkar Camel Fair
It is Rajasthan's most famous fair; it brings
together camel traders, pilgrims, visitors, and those who're here simply to
participate in one of the season's most colorful social events. Besides
tented camps, there are hundreds of shops selling everything from
handicrafts to spices, foodstuff and jewellery. For visitors, a number of
activities are also arranged. But most simply wish to stay within the fair
grounds to watch the fascinating Rajasthani village metamorphose before the
eyes.
During the fair you can see the village life and also talk with
villagers.
NOV 04 Pushkar - Bikaner (258 kms)
After
breakfast drive to Bikaner. Bikaner lies on the northern point on the
triangle of desert cities. Later embark on a tour of Bikaner City; visit the
Junagarh Fort, built in 1611 AD. The palaces worth visiting are Anup Mahal,
Karan Mahal, and Bijai Phool Mahal.

Jaisalmer fort. Afterwards visit to the Gadisar Tank & large houses of
the merchant called havelies, some of them dating to the Premediaval Patwon
Ki Haveli, Salim Shah Haveli and Nathamal Ki Haveli with their intricately
carved screens on the facades and the typical traditional architecture.

Meherangarh Fort, drive through the old city and past the Clock Tower near
the largest spice bazaar in the sub-continent, visit the Jaswant Thada
Cenotaph, the royal cremation site and then proceed to see the most
magnificent, modern 20th century Palace, the Umaid Bhavan Palace and its
museum - a treasure trove.

drive to Mount Abu- located 4000 ft above sea level is solitary hill station
i.e also a pilgrimage center for Jains. Afternoon visit world famous Dilwara
Jain Temple- consisting of five jain temples built from the beginning of the
11th century onwards with intricate ornamental carvings represent the climax
in the art of decoration in stones, Nekki Lake, Brahmin Kumari Ashram, Peace
Park & Gyan Sarovar.
NOV 09 Mt. Abu - Ranakpur -
Udaipur(175 Kms)
Morning leave for Udaipur. Enroute visit to
Ranakpur temples of the Jains, built in the 15th century in the lovely
valley of Aravallis. It has grand structure & beautiful Sculptures. The
1444 pillars in the temple are different from each other. The magic of light
& shade is really awe- inspiring. Afternoon is free to explore colorful
Bazar & Shopping.
NOV 10 Udaipur Sightseeing
Today sight seeing of Udaipur includes The City Palace, drive around Fateh
Sagar lake, Sahelion-ki-Bari (The fountained and flowered garden of
Maidens), Partap Smarak: A memorial to the legendary warrior Rana Pratap,
Bhartiya Lok Mandal Museum. Remainder of the day is at leisure.
NOV 11 Udaipur - Delhi
At leisurely morning fly to Delhi. After
taking a lot of memories say good-bye to this fascinating land. Upon arrival
transfer to International Airport to board the flight for onward
destination.
